NORTH OF 50
North of 50 is a new program targeting the vulnerable seniors’ population with a strong focus on members of racialized and newcomer groups, and members of LGBTQ2+ communities. This program will give opportunities for seniors to lead and participate in online and in person arts-based practices including story sharing/journaling, movement, visual art, and mental health workshops.
Thank you to the New Horizons for Seniors Program grant for funding ACT’s North of 50 Programming.
For the 2022 North of 50 program, the seniors created a script based on their stories and experiences of isolation and loneliness called The Complex.
