ACT NEW WORKS

As a result of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, Arts Collective Theatre (ACT) has made the decision to cancel/postpone the remaining 2020 season. The ACT board of directors felt safety was our highest priority. To learn more, click here.

Are you a writer or composer with a new idea for a musical? ACT is looking for NEW MUSICALS to workshop and present for our program ACT NEW WORKS.

Program Benefits:

• •Opportunity to develop and workshop your musical with local professional theatre artists
• Work with emerging actors and musicians
• Stage your musical, and present it to Windsor-Essex audiences

Submission Guidelines:

All submissions must be original works that are still in development. Submissions may be of any music theatre genre, and should aim to be between 60-90 minutes in length.

Submissions are being accepted Friday, September 6, 2019 to Sunday, January 12, 2020.

We will announce the winner in April 2020.  Rehearsals and final NEW WORKS presentation will take place from September – November 2020.
