Marketing Videographer

Arts Collective Theatre is looking for a Marketing Videographer who is skilled at shooting and editing compelling video footage that is both beautiful to watch and impactful in its presentation of our programming..

Working on assignments from the creative team and in a self-motivated capacity, the marketing videographer will oversee all facets of branded video production, including concept and story development, shooting video and sound, editing/post-production, and maintaining our video archive. Reporting to the Marketing and Artistic Director, the successful candidate will collaborate with the creative team on concepting, storyboarding, and planning logistics of a wide variety of shoots, and will maintain ACT’s YouTube account.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or two (2) years related work

Related Experience: demonstrated professional experience or a portfolio of work that demonstrates proficiency with all stages of video production.

Preferred Qualification
Proficiency with DSLR cameras, Premier Cut Pro CC, Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, and After Effects CC; ability to work and independently manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment required. Demonstrated ability to work in informal and formal teams with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.  Must have own computer and access to recording equipment and software.

Start date: August 4, 2020

End date: November 20, 2020

Part-time: 15 hours a week

Length of employment: 16 weeks

Hourly wage: $14.00/hr

Marketing Assistant

ACT is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Director with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, and with the development of new marketing strategies.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials, schedules, and budgets
  • Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as new online programming and fundraising campaigns
  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics in order to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends
  • Write and edit content for different platforms such as social media, website, press releases, and monthly newsletters
  • Moderate social media comments and provide engagement with followers
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred and/or 1+ years of experience in marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus
